Diana (Spanish teacher & CEO of MPLCS)
Hola! My name is Diana, I am from Madrid and I’ve been living in Australia for 3 years now.
Very young I decided to study Tourism, I wanted to travel over the world and open my view to other cultures. I lived in Ireland and I traveled in many countries in Europe and America. Later on I decided to study many techniques to keep body and mind in balance and this opened to me a path that I am still loving.
I’ve been teaching in Spain in many areas and working in Cultural Centres from kids to adults. When I moved to Mornington, I taught in the U3A and this experience was for me a treasure for the people that I had the opportunity to meet there. And from 2 years ago I have been enjoying being part of MPLCS.
I love to have the chance to share my culture and for me it is great when I can see my students talking in my language, it makes me really happy. Looking forward to meet you soon.
Nos vemos pronto!

Italian tutoring is an experience she started since her move to Australia in 2014, and that has included collaborations within community centres and private at home classes. To Laura, a classroom, either virtual or physical, is not only a place of study but an invitation to learn all round, socialice and be cheerful. Her involvement in Australia to promote the Italian culture and language has been always proactive and has embraced over the years different activities, such as writing for an important Italian Australian magazine. I am a French native speaker teaching French for close to 20 years; one of my specialised area is VCE exam preparation. I also translate/ proof-read and do voice recording for French learning methods.
Having taught in schools in Melbourne then in various settings on the Mornington Peninsula, I am passionate about sharing the nuances of the French language with my students. Using a creative touch to the learning process, students are engaged in and out of the classroom and progress is constant!
I use a modern French method for grammar learning which contains expert tips for mastering the concepts that learners find most difficult. I am teaching online at this point in time.
